Dr. Urs Müller currently head of the Research group Sustainability Communication and Environmental Education at the Institute for Environment and Natural Resources ZHAW. His research focuses on impact-oriented environmental campaigns, impact evaluations and behavioural change. Müller studied geography at the University of Zurich.
He did his doctorate on “The Power of Images in Sustainable Development” – a project that received the swiss-academies award for transdisciplinary research in 2006. Subsequently, in a postdoctoral project in the University Research Priority Program Asia and Europe, he worked on the question of how nature-culture dualism can be overcome. Before joining the ZHAW, Urs Müller worked in the management of an environmental NGO.
