Txana Bane is a pioneer leader in conducting traditional ceremonies outside the villages, first in Rio de Janeiro and then in Europe. He had an important role in disseminating the culture and spirituality of the Huni Kuin people, which also generated visibility for other indigenous peoples who today travel the world sharing their knowledge. In 2005 he founded the Huni Kuin Guardians, a group in Rio with which he maintains a close relationship.
Currently, Txana Bane lives in Germany and also in the Aldeia Lago Lindo, in Acre, dividing his time between projects to spread Huni Kuin culture and ecological activism focused on the preservation of the Amazon Rainforest.
