Isarewe Huni Kuin is a spiritual leader in the Reino da Estrela village in the upper Jordão River. He began his studies with his father Arthur Sales Txuã and his uncle, the elder Macário – two important Txanás, singers and guardians of traditional ceremonies such as the txirin (funeral rite), katxanawa , and Nixpu Pima baptism. Isarewe has great experience in working with the medicines of the forest and carries the strength of his ancestry accompanied by the guitar, which is an instrument incorporated recently into the Huni Kuin culture. An experienced musician, Isarewe has traveled in recent years to Europe, Asia, and Africa sharing the sacred songs and traditional culture of his people.
